Hi again

Whats the best way to make a MesseageBox with custom controls??

Hi Lg,

Honestly I'm not exactly sure what your best coarse of action would be. The default message box in WinRT is not customizable but changing the text. I think the googles would be your best bet.

There isn't anything built into the framework to deal with this, then again I'm not totally sure what the usecase is for because usually message boxes are there to tell the user something not collect information.

Ok

I am trying to mimic the behavour of Windows 8 Mail

When you adding a account, starting from the settings charm,, after a couple of clicks you are presented with something that looks like a messagebox,, but used to give connection data.

I am trying to do something simular.

Hi Lg,

In that case I tihnk you could use the IUIVisualizationService to create a popup that does what you want to do. The trick will be managing the placement and sizing (the service doesn't do that for you).

I haven't actually used the mail tool but I'm guessing it's just a popup under the covers.
