Release Notes

This is a major feature and bug fix release that touches most aspects of the project from templates to dll's. Below is description of some of the features and bug fixes.

Installer Changes
To take advantage of the Visual Studio extension gallery the C# templates have been removed from the install and packaged as a separate VSIX install.

Features
  • WPF Support - .Net 4.5 is now supported and templates were created in support including some based on MahApps.metro
  • DI Container supports Lazy<T>, support for caching exported objects, performance improvements.
  • New templates for creating new message classes

Bug Fixes
  • Logging - Many fixes and improvements for logging
  • Configuration - Fix for configuration service possible null reference
  • BusyIndicator - multiple template and code fixes for BusyIndicator
  • Template tweaks - there where many template tweaks and fixes for WinRT project and item templates
